ここ1週間の私のマイブームは、『トップガン:マーベリック』の評論記事を読むことです。
このニュースウィークの記事の分析が面白かったのと、英文のリズムや流れも楽しいので、紹介します。
※私がざっくりと訳しているので、若干意訳ですがお許しください。

I figured I’d wait for Top Gun: Maverick to make its way to the streaming world and watch it in the comfort of my home. But soon the reviews started streaming in from friends. Again and again, they told
me the movie wasn’t just good but very good.

Last but certainly not least, we line up for Top Gun: Maverick for the great adrenaline-filled action sequences, from the dazzling low-altitude scenes to the airborne dogfights.
一番大事なことを最後に言うと、超低空飛行の場面から、戦闘シーンまで、アドレナリンが噴き出すアクションシーンの連続でした。
そして、最後のこのツッコミには笑ってしまいました。

Everyone working at Netflix, Disney, Hulu and the Hollywood studios should be assigned to watch—and study—this movie that Americans are still lining up for.
Netflix、Disney、Huluの皆さんは、この映画を見るのを宿題にしてください。アメリカ人がいまだにどんな映画のために並ぶのか、研究すると良いですよ。

最後になりましたが、私も先月、夫と一緒に映画館で久しぶりに見たのがこの映画でした。
評判通りとても面白かったです
